Backhand:
A lightweight glove with rubber inserts strategically placed on key impact zones for protection and structure (featuring flame-shaped accents as a nod to the Phoenix). The hybrid construction combines two advanced fabrics:
· AIRGRID on the upper backhand for maximum mobility.
· BREATHEX on the wrist area for breathability and flexibility, ensuring a dynamic fit without compromising structural integrity.
AIRGRID: A lightweight, elastic, and highly breathable fabric designed for unrestricted movement. It consists of three layers:
· Outer Layer: Ultra-lightweight Lycra, made with high-quality nylon for maximum ventilation and stretch.
· Mid Layer: 1.5mm latex for subtle rebound and impact protection.
· Inner Layer: Ultra Play Lycra, engineered for quick moisture absorption and all-day freshness.
Additionally, the Breathex section features laser micro-perforations for enhanced airflow and elasticity.
The two materials are joined using a 3-needle, 6-thread stitching method, ensuring:
· Balanced tension between fabrics with different elasticity.
· Adaptive stretch without thread breakage.
· High durability and long-term resistance to wear.
Cut:
Negative cut with wrapped lateral fingers—seams are placed inside the glove for a tighter fit, enhancing sensitivity and security. The index and pinky fingers (key for ball control in catches) feature a full wrap, ensuring constant contact with the palm latex (a tribute to previous generations of the Phoenix model). The thumb has a double wrap for added durability.
Palm:
AWG® Latex—next-generation German-engineered latex developed exclusively for Rinat. Its standout feature is balance, offering optimal grip in both dry and slightly wet conditions (without excessive water absorption) while maintaining long-lasting durability. A latex that performs in any situation.
· Latex thickness: 3.5mm (outer layer) + 3.0mm (internal foam).
Note: For best performance, a pre-wash before first use is recommended.
A strategic latex extension on the wrist provides additional grip areas.
Closure:
STRAPLESS system—eliminates the need for a traditional strap, making it more practical and comfortable. Breathex covers the forearm for a secure wrist fit, while an elastic cuff ensures the glove stays firmly in place.
